Justin Bieber’s new song “Sorry” debuted on Thursday accompanied by a dance video, which it turns out is one sequence from a 35-minute movie that will encompass every song on Bieber’s upcoming album, Purpose.
The Purpose movie will feature all 18 songs from the album, and Bieber’s longtime choreographer Parris Goebel is overseeing the project. As Gossip Cop reported, Bieber doesn’t actually appear in the “Sorry” dance video. Instead, a group of female dancers dressed in sexy urban outfits twerk and gyrate along to the EDM beats. It’s yet to be announced if the singer will be featured in the movie at all, or if the entire production will comprise backup dancers rocking out to his music.
Bieber collaborated with EDM superstars Skrillex and Blood Diamond for “Sorry,” having previously worked with Skrillex on the EDM anthem “Where Are U Now.” The full tracklist for Bieber’s new record has yet to be revealed, but artists including Ariana Grande, Big Sean, Nas and Travis Scott will be featured on various songs.
