Justin Bieber has stolen the record from Eminem as winner of the most MTV EMAs of all time. The singer won six awards at the 2015 Europe Music Awards, bringing his total to 18, and besting the previous record of 15 held by Eminem.

As Gossip Cop reported, the MTV EMAs were held on Sunday in Milan, Italy at the Mediolanum Forum, where Bieber took home awards for Best Male, Best Collaboration, Best Canadian Act, Best Worldwide Act: North America, Biggest Fans and Best Look. Bieber was on hand at the show to collect his awards, and while accepting for Best Male said, “It’s been a long couple of years. I just feel like this is pretty awesome to be recognized for my music.”

In addition to taking the stage for his acceptance speech, Bieber also performed his new hit single “What Do You Mean?” As Gossip Cop previously noted, Bieber released his new song “Sorry” this past Friday. The track is the second single from his highly-anticipated upcoming album Purpose, which drops on November 13.
