Julie Chen as Madonna, Sharon Osbourne as Sia, and More: The Talk Ladies Murder Halloween With Sing-Off Contest

No talk, just song! The ladies of The Talk went all out for the Friday, Oct. 30, episode of the daytime talk show, transforming into some of music’s biggest names for a lip-sync competition guest-hosted by Joey Fatone.

Julie Chen rocked the stage as Madonna, circa Blonde Ambition era, performing “Express Yourself” in the Queen of Pop’s iconic white cone-bra leotard. She wore her long blonde wig up in a high ponytail, just like the Rebel Heart singer did.

“I need some water. Madonna needs some water,” she told Fatone following her energetic performance, which mimicked the award-winning superstar’s opening number from her 1990 world tour. “I’m feeling out of breath despite not singing a note. My throat is dry. I tip my wig and my hat to Madonna.”

Sheryl Underwood similarly went full-force with her transformation into rocker James Brown, performing “Living in America.” The comedian wore red-and-white striped pants and a blue tailcoat with white stars on it for her Halloween getup.

“After that performance, I can speak for everyone and say, ‘I feel good!’” Fatone quipped as Underwood let out a few growls a la the late music legend.

Other performances included Aisha Tyler as Beyonce doing “Single Ladies” and Sara Gilbert crooning as Celine Dion in “The Power of Love.”

But perhaps Sharon Osbourne had it the easiest of the bunch as Sia in a performance of the singer’s hit “Chandelier.” During her time onstage, Osbourne sat with her back to the audience as two little girls pranced about in matching white bobbed wigs, just like in the music video.

When asked how she felt about her strenuous performance, Osbourne was gracious.

“I felt wonderful because this song is such a beautiful song, and I think my girls did it justice,” she replied.
