Joe Jonas and DNCE are giving Adele’s “Hello” the cover treatment, but with a Halloween twist. Watch below!
As Gossip Cop reported, last week Adele released her first new song in three years, winning raves from critics, fans, and celebrities. Over the last few days, it’s inspired a number of spoofs, including funny bits from Ellen DeGeneres and James Corden. But Jonas’ offering tops them all.
He and his band mates filmed a video in which they perform the track while wearing Halloween costumes. “Hello” is a heartbreakingly beautiful song, but it’s becomes something downright bizarre when you see Jonas singing it in a clown costume. And, boy, is he one sad clown.
Jonas was a bit more excited on social media, tweeting, “Hello, Happy halloween from @DNCE.” The group’s official Twitter account also enthusiastically posted, “HELLO!! WE COVERED ADELE FOR HALLOWEEN.” That was followed by the requisite “HELLO FROM THE OTHER SIDE” tweet.
DNCE has been making a creative splash since making its debut in September with “Cake By The Ocean.” Just last week, the band scored a prime concert gig on “Today.” Next week they’ll hit the road for their first tour.
