Gwyneth Paltrow “Rude” At EMA Awards Ceremony?

Gwyneth Paltrow EMA Awards

(RadarOnline)

Gwyneth Paltrow was NOT “rude” at an event where she was being honored by the Environmental Media Association, despite a made-up webloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust this story. We’re told it’s not true and the actress was “happy to be there.”

Paltrow received the EMA’s Green Parent Award for her work promoting physical and mental health through her lifestyle website Goop. But a supposed “event insider” tells RadarOnline, “She came late and was extremely rude to the PR people prior to giving her speech.” The “source” goes on to claim, “After she accepted the award she did not even stay around for the after-party to show her gratitude! She was awarded the highest honor and couldn’t even stay to say thank you.”

Gossip Cop is exclusively told by a rep for Paltrow that the webloid’s account is completely false. In regards to the after-party, we’re told, “Everyone at EMA was already aware that [she] was not going to be able to attend… she had to relieve her sitters and needed to get home.” Furthermore, the EMA is an organization that the actress holds dear to her heart, as “her mother has been a part of [it] for many, many years.” Gossip Cop is assured that Paltrow was “very happy” to be honored, and the claim that she was in any way rude is completely unfounded.
