Jimmy Kimmel tricked people on the streets of Hollywood into reviewing Donald Trump’s performance at the third Republican presidential debate hours before the event took place. Watch the Trump edition of “Lie Witness News” below!
A correspondent for “Jimmy Kimmel Live” hit Hollywood Boulevard and found random people who were more than happy to analyze the debate, even though it hadn’t happened yet. One man said of Trump’s demeanor, “He was boisterous as he usually is, but lacking substance.” When the interviewer asked a woman what she thought of Trump “doing pushups instead of a closing argument,” she expressed it was “horrible” and “over the top.”
In regards to the nonexistent “viral clip where Trump did a back flip and said, ‘This is what I’m gonna do to Obama care,'” one man reacted, “I laughed, it was weird.” As for the imaginary incident where Trump “reeled out cinder blocks and started building a wall right on stage,” another citizen “kind of cringed when that happened.”
And, according to Kimmel’s reporter, Trump wore “bangs” at the (didn’t-really-happen-yet) debate. “The bangs were cute. I’d love to talk to his wig guy,” said one man. Two Australian tourists even claimed to have been in their hotel room watching the debate with a group of friends.
