Demi Lovato World Series National Anthem

Demi Lovato performed the National Anthem at game four of the 2015 World Series on Saturday. Watch below!

The spotlight was on Lovato at Citi Field, where the New York Mets were set to take on the Kansas City Royals. The series began earlier this week, and the Royals are now leading two games to one. The Mets scored their first win on Friday, following a “Star-Spangled Banner” performance from Billy Joel.

While it’s a huge honor that Lovato was asked to sing this time, she’s actually done it twice before. As Gossip Cop reported at the time, the pop star performed the National Anthem at the 2011 World Series and again at the 2012 World Series. Perhaps 2016 will be next to continue the two-years-in-a-row tradition.

With this new performance coming on October 31, it caps off a huge month for the former child star. Two weeks ago she released her fifth studio album, Confident. And just earlier this week she announced a world tour with Nick Jonas.

Lovato also performed on “Today” on Thursday, and on “The Tonight Show” on Friday. Jimmy Fallon actually warned her not to mess up at the World Series, otherwise everyone would “hate” her forever. Thankfully, it went perfectly. Gossip Cop will have the video momentarily. Stay tuned!
