Angelina Jolie did NOT “walk out” on Brad Pitt, despite an inaccurate and convoluted tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this story. We’re told it’s “not true.”
According to OK!, the reason Jolie is shooting her next movie in Cambodia is to get away from her husband. A so-called “insider” tells the tabloid that the actress’ months-long filming schedule is merely “her excuse to walk out on Brad.” The supposed “source” adds, “They’re both so fed up with each other that they were almost relieved when she packed up.” The tabloid’s alleged insider also claims, “Brad and Angelina have been living separate lives, and now she’s made the first move to leave.”
The main issue with the magazine’s tall tale? Pitt, Jolie and their children have all been recently photographed together in Cambodia. That’s right, Jolie did “walk out”… and Pitt was right alongside her. The happy and tight-knit family traveled to another continent be together while Jolie works.
Regardless of that little detail, Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to the couple, who exclusively tells us that the tabloid’s story is simply “not true.” Gossip Cop, however, is not surprised since this is all coming from the same magazine that first wrongly claimed Pitt and George Clooney were doing The Odd Couple, only to later also inaccurately report the two men were “at war.” Similarly, it’s the same outlet Gossip Cop busted when it falsely claimed in a cover story 18 months ago that Jolie was pregnant with twins.
