ABC has ordered another season of Switched at Birth.
One of the cable network's highest-rated original series, the Peabody-winning drama wraps up its current and fifth season this coming Monday, Oct. 26.
"Every season Switched at Birth continues to deliver fresh, relatable storylines that tackle important social issues, reflecting what our audience experiences daily," said ABC Family exec vp programming and development, Karey Burke. "We’re excited to see where Lizzy will take these characters next."
The fifth season of Switched at Birth will debut in 2016 once the network has rebranded to Freeform.
Switched at Birth is executive-produced by Lizzy Weiss, Paul Stupin and Linda Gase.
