“I was very disappointed in Nicki,” the daytime talk show host, 51, said, adding that she otherwise doesn’t really have an opinion about either of the talented young ladies.
“I just feel that Nicki is like, twice Miley Cyrus’ age. It would’ve been nice if Nicki would’ve just taken her award, rolled her eyes, and looked at the camera and kept it moving,” the author noted, flashing the camera an example of a not-impressed-look that the “Truffle Butter” singer could’ve given instead. “I don’t know. Who fights with kids?!”

The incident in question happened when Minaj, 32, took the stage to accept the Moonman for Best Hip-Hop Video for “Anaconda.” After saying her thank yous, the rapper turned to 22-year-old Cyrus, who was hosting the show, and said, “And now … back to this bitch that had a lot to say about me in the press.”

She was referencing an interview the “Wrecking Ball” songstress did with The New York Times, in which Cyrus said Minaj’s feud with Taylor Swift over the Video of the Year nominees was “not very polite.”
“Nicki was livid with Miley and decided to air her feelings on stage,” a source told Us Weekly exclusively. “The anger was very real and not a pre-planned bit at all.”
