He will appear on Sept. 10 as speculation ramps up about his White House hopes.

Is Vice President Joe Biden about to drop some new big news on the new Late Show?

The vice president is slated to appear on Stephen Colbert's late-night show Sept. 10, the incoming host revealed Tuesday on Twitter.

All eyes have been on Biden since Aug. 1, when The New York Times revealed that the vice president, who has served two times, was considering a run for president. That speculation grew more fervent over the weekend, when Biden appeared at a Democratic fundraiser unannounced in his home state of Delaware.

Biden previously sought the Democratic presidential ticket in 2008 as well as in 1988.

Biden is the latest big get for Colbert's inaugural week behind the Late Show desk.  Other guests include celebrities like George Clooney and Amy Schumer as well as political figures such as Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush.

Biden most recently appeared on Late Show in 2012.

Late Show With Stephen Colbert premieres Sept. 8 at 11:35 p.m. on CBS.
