Season 2 of the unscripted series wraps Wednesday.

VH1 is ready to bare it all once again.

The Viacom-owned cable network has ordered a third season of the hit reality series Dating Naked, VH1 announced Monday.

The dating series' second season, subtitled Playing for Keeps, wraps on Wednesday.

Hosted by Amy PaffrathDating Naked has been a breakout hit for VH1 at a time when the network is undergoing a programming shift. Last month, morning talk shows Big Morning Buzz Live and The Gossip Table were axed, as was the scripted freshman dramedy Hindsight. The latter had been renewed for a second season back in March, but in a statement the network blamed an :overcrowded and rapidly changing climate," and the subsequent need for the channel to find a "distinct place in the scripted marketplace." A highly anticipated reboot of MTV's hit reality series The Osbournes was also scrapped by VH1 earlier this year before it could make it to air.

Dating Naked's pickup also makes sense considering that Discovery's similarly revealing unscripted series, Naked and Afraid XL, recently trumped I Am Cait to become cable's biggest reality rookie of the year so far.

Dating Naked is exec produced by Rob LaPlante and Jeff Spangler, as well as Susan Levison, Jill Holmes, Kristen Kelly and Tricia Biggio for VH1. Lighthearted Entertainment produces the series.
