USA’s ‘Colony’ Enlists ‘Sons of Anarchy’ Alum for Recurring Role (Exclusive)

Ally Walker will play a powerful figure in the midst of the occupied Los Angeles.

USA's new invasion drama Colony is adding a taste of anarchy.

Sons of Anarchy alum Ally Walker has joined the series in a recurring role, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

Starring Lost's Josh Holloway and The Walking Dead alum Sarah Wayne Callies, Colony centers on a family torn apart by opposing forces and makes difficult decisions as its members balance staying together with surviving the struggle of the human race. Set in the near future, the story takes place in Los Angeles, which exists in a state of occupation by a force of outside intruders. Some people choose to collaborate with the authorities and benefit from the new order, while others rebel and suffer the consequences.  

Walker will play Helena, a powerful figure in the midst of the occupied Los Angeles who has gravitas, smarts and cool charm.

She joins previously announced guest stars Emmy-winner Kathy Baker, Carl WeathersEpisodesKathleen Rose Perkins and CSI alum Paul Guilfoyle.

Colony, which hails from Universal Cable Productions, is created and exec produced by Lost's Carlton Cuse and HerculesRyan Condal,

Walker will next be seen on the new season of Longmire. Her other credits include The Profiler, The Protector and Tell Me You Love Me. She is repped by Domain Talent and Framework Entertainment.

Colony premieres Jan. 14 at 10 p.m. on USA.
