The HBO drama also unveiled new key art with the tagline, "Begin again."

The Leftovers is gearing up for a fresh start.

The HBO drama from Damon Lindelof and Tom Perrotta has released another trailer for its upcoming sophomore season, and it teases just as much mayhem as the first one.

The minute-and-a-half clip focuses on leading man Kevin (Justin Theroux) and his lover Nora (Carrie Coon) as they navigate their relationship in their new home of Jarden, TX, a special town that was spared from the mysterious Rapture-like event that caused two percent of the world's population to disappear.

The network also unveiled revamped key art featuring the pair reaching for each other under water, with the tagline, "Begin again." The image alludes to the new life Kevin and Nora seeking by leaving their hometown of Mapleton, NY, as well as the struggle that they'll inevitably face in Jarden.

The Leftovers returns Sunday, Oct. 4 at 9 p.m. on HBO. Check out the new trailer below and see what's in store for the Garvey's in season two:
