Paul Zerdin proved he’s a “master” on part one of the season 10 “America’s Got Talent” finale on Tuesday. Watch below!

As Gossip Cop reported, Zerdin broke out from the back during the Judge Cuts round, when guest judge (and former regular judge) Piers Morgan selected the ventriloquist as his one and only Golden Buzzer act. And each time Zerdin has taken the stage, he’s brought a new approach to ventriloquism that’s led him to become one of the judges’ favorites. Howard Stern even said during the semifinals last week that he should be the million dollar winner.

Now for his last performance, Zerdin introduced a grandpa-aged puppet named Albert, who struggled to hear and tried to flirt Heidi Klum. The two were interrupted by his baby dummy pal, before his signature puppet Sam came out and they amusingly switched voices. It was only a matter of time before Zerdin expertly juggled all three of his characters, bringing many laughs along the way.

Howie Mandel said afterward, “Paul, you know that I absolutely love you. And you can tell by the reaction here, America loves you, the theater loves you.” That said, the judge went on to question whether Zerdin’s different voices were distinct enough. He was the odd-man-out, though, as the rest of the panel had nothing but raves.

Howard Stern said, “I think this is a final and there’s a reason Paul breezed through every single time he came on, because he’s a master at what he does… He’s taken the art of ventriloquism to new heights.” Heidi Klum noted, “Tonight was great and probably the hardest for you… and you really pulled it off.”

And Mel B told Zerdin, “You are already a well-polished act. You’re flawless. And I hope America votes for you, because you’re great.” Zerdin is one of 10 finalists this year, and he’ll find out his fate during part two of the finale on Wednesday. Check out the video below.
