Kris and Caitlyn Jenner kiss and make up on Sunday’s season finale of “I Am Cait.” While meeting for the first time since Caitlyn’s transition at her Malibu home, Kris and her ex decide they will “start hanging out” for the sake of their kids. Watch the video below.
The clip begins with Cailtyn asking Kris if they’re “going to start hanging out together,” to which her ex-wife says, “Sure, you can come over for a drink.” But when Caitlyn asks whether they can “go shopping,” Kris says, “Let’s not get carried away.” Kris then explains that she wants to “get to a place where it’s comfortable for us to share celebrations together.” Caitlyn agrees and suggests they “move on.”
Caitlyn then tells the camera that she was happy to get Kris’ “side of the story,” though she admits, “I don’t really agree with everything she said.” Still, Caitlyn hopes it will be “different in the future” because she wants to maintain her relationship with her children. “That’s the most important thing,” stresses the former Olympian.
It gets awkward when Kris asks Caitlyn if she’s dating Candice Cayne. Caitlyn just laughs, making Kris even more uncomfortable. But, as Gossip Cop has repeatedly reported, the two are not a couple. Next, the former spouses take a selfie, during which Caitlyn kisses Kris’ cheek, leaving a lipstick smudge.
Kris tells the camera that when she was married to Bruce, he “wasn’t as sensitive as I wished he was,” and that she “chalked it up to the fact that he was a guy.” But now Kris says she’s realizing that “it’s just Bruce/Caitlyn’s personality… It’s just the way she is.” Nevertheless, Kris wants to continue the dialogue with Cailtyn to “keep our family together.”
