Killer ‘Scream Queens’ Preview! – ARTICLE

"Scream Queens" has unveiled its killer opening credits.

The upcoming FOX series from "American Horror Story" mastermind Ryan Murphy blends classic scare tactics and cheeky punch lines for a genre-bending romp, and its newly released title sequence appropriately follows suit.

Murphy Tweeted the "Super Sized" clip on Wednesday, showing the all-star cast coming face-to-face with creepy masked villain Red Devil. The actors all let out their best blood-curdling shrieks as the '80s-influenced theme music pulses right along.

"Scream Queens" centers on the fictional Wallace University and its Kappa Kappa Tao sorority sisters, led by queen bee Chanel (Emma Roberts). The cast has dished on the show's combination of a retro aesthetic and contemporary dialogue, and why they think it's an important addition to the fall television lineup.

"You've never seen anything like it. I mean, period," co-star Diego Boneta told Access Hollywood at the Television Critcs Association Summer Tour in August.

"I just love how much people are responding to the comedy," the "Glee" alum told Access at San Diego Comic-Con in July. "Obviously it's really scary and it has incredible fashion as well, but it's so funny and I'm glad that everyone is getting that humor and is really engaged with all the different levels of the show."
