Ronny Chieng, Desi Lydic and Roy Wood Jr. will join the late-night show.
The Daily Show with Trevor Noah is bulking up its staff.
Comedy Central announced Wednesday that Ronny Chieng, Desi Lydic and Roy Wood Jr. will join the late-night show as correspondents under new host Trevor Noah.
Additionally, Jon Stewart-era comedians Jordan Klepper, Hasan Minhaj, Jessica Williams, Lewis Black, John Hodgman, Al Madrigal, Aasif Mandvi and Kristen Schaal will continue as correspondents.
"I'm so excited to welcome these new members of the Daily Show Team," said Noah in a statement. "Now I get to share my stress with other new people."
Cheing rose through the stand-up comedy ranks in Australia, after studying law and commerce at the University of Melbourne, and went on to play numerous international comedy festivals and open for Dave Chappelle and Bill Burr. He is repped by Century Entertainment Australia and APA.
Lydic, an alum of The Groundlings and Improv Olympic, has been featured on the MTV series Awkward, as well as the films We Bought A Zoo and The Babymakers. She is repped by UTA, Underground and attorney is Stone, Meyer, et al.
Wood, who began his comedy career in 1998 while in college, finished third in the 2010 season of NBC’s Last Comic Standing and released his stand-up album Things I Think, I Think in 2013. He is repped by UTA and MacDonald Entertainment.
The Daily Show with Trevor Noah premieres Sept. 28 at 11 p.m. on Comedy Central.
