Yet another celebrity couple has a "Complicated" split on their hands. Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger have separated after two years of marriage.
Avril posted the news to Instagram on Wednesday, alongside a picture of the couple in happier times. She told fans that she and Chad will continue to respect and care for one another despite their decision to part ways.

"It is with heavy heart that Chad and I announce our separation today. Through not only the marriage, but the music as well, we've created many unforgettable moments," she wrote. "We are still, and forever will be, the best of friends, and will always care deeply for each other. To all our family, friends and fans, thank you sincerely for the support."

The "Sk8er Boi" singer, 30, and the Nickelback frontman, 40, wed on July 1, 2013. Their breakup comes just days after Avril's first husband, Sum 41 lead singer Deryck Whibley, tied the knot with Ariana Cooper at the Hotel Bel Air in Los Angeles. Deryck and Avril divorced in 2010.
Avril may have rallied some early squad support prior to her emotional announcement. As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, the rocker joined Taylor Swift on stage at her San Diego concert on August 29.
