"The entire thing, I sound like I was in 'The Wizard of Oz' or something. ... But finally, my testicles dropped, and I feel much better!"
Neil Patrick Harris is poking fun at how he sounded on Doogie Howser, M.D.
"The entire thing, I sound like I was in The Wizard of Oz or something," said the actor, who shot four seasons of the comedy in which he played a teenage doctor. Harris was sixteen years old when production began on the ABC series.
Harris, whose new variety show Best Time Ever airs this fall, also noted that his odd articulation, paired with his munchkin-like pitch, turned into a "creepy" voice that resembled a James Cagney character.
"But finally, my testicles dropped, and I feel much better!" he joked, as Corden went on to named them.
