TV Ratings: Preseason Football Grows on NBC, ‘Big Brother’ Holds Strong

The CBS series tops broadcast's non-sports programming for the night.

When time zone adjustments come in, NBC will easily win Sunday night in the broadcast ratings race.

Preliminary returns for the evening's preseason NFL matchup between the Arizona Cardinals and the Oakland Raiders were up 15 percent from the comparable game that aired on Fox last week.

Among the night's non-sports offerings, Big Brother held strong with a 2.1 rating among adults 18-49 on CBS.

And, on ABC, both Bachelor in Paradise (1.3 adults) and Boston Trauma (0.7 adults) were even with last Sunday's outings.
