Tracy Morgan married his long-time girlfriend Megan Wollover on Sunday night, Gossip Cop confirms. The comedian waited to wed his fiancée until he had sufficiently recovered from the injuries sustained during his horrific car accident in 2014.
Morgan, 46, and Wollover, 28, who began dating in 2011, exchanged vows in front of a small group of friends and family in Cresskill, New Jersey. Also in attendance at the intimate and emotional wedding ceremony was Morgan and Wollover’s 2-year-old daughter Maven.
This marks Morgan’s second marriage. He and ex-wife Sabina Morgan got divorced in 2009 after 23 years of marriage. They have three grown sons.
As Gossip Cop reported, Morgan was involved in a multi-car pileup on the New Jersey turnpike in June 2014 when a Walmart tractor-trailer crashed into his tour bus. Morgan’s friend and fellow comedian James McNair was killed in the accident, while Morgan suffered from multiple broken bones and a traumatic brain injury.
The “Saturday Night Live” alum has made a slow but steady recovery in the 14 months following the incident. As Gossip Cop noted last week, Morgan will return to the spotlight for the first time since his accident when he hosts “SNL” on October 17.
