Stars are taking to social media to lend their support to Rosie O’Donnell following the disappearance of her 17-year-old daughter Chelsea. Many of the celebrities are urging their followers to help find the missing girl. See tweets below.

As Gossip Cop reported earlier on Tuesday, Chelsea left the family’s Nyack, New York home last week along with a “therapy dog” named Bear, and she hasn’t been seen since. She is said to suffer from mental illness and had stopped taking her medication, adding to the seriousness of the issue. O’Donnell posted messages on both her blog and Twitter page, asking people to help in any way they can.

Jimmy Fallon helped out by retweeting O’Donnell’s initial post, which read, “chelsea and her dog bear – last seen in nyack ny – may be in NYC – please call 845-358-0206 or 911.” Josh Groban sent his best wishes to O’Donnell, writing, “Hoping someone comes forward with info and thinking of Rosie and her family today.” And Christina Applegate retweeted a news story about the disappearance.

James Woods posted a link to O’Donnell’s blog post, which contains detailed information about what Chelsea was wearing at the time she went missing. “@Rosie has a daughter who needs medical care and she is missing. Please retweet,” the actor wrote. Marlee Matlin also posted a link to O’Donnell’s blog, along with the caption, “This is from my friend @Rosie. Her daughter is missing. Please read and RT.”

Rose McGowan retweeted O’Donnell’s message, writing “PLEASE HELP” alongside it. Roseanne tweeted, “Rosie I am horrified to hear about your daughter being missing! OMG!” And Luann de Lesseps of “Real Housewives of New York City” wrote on Twitter, “”A mother’s nightmare. Positive thoughts to @Rosie and family with the hope of finding Chelsea safe and sound soon.” Gossip Cop will update as more information emerges.
