“So You Think You Can Dance” said goodbye to two more contestants on Monday. Get the results here!
As Gossip Cop reported, season 12’s Top 10 was revealed last week after a huge elimination that sent four dancers home. Now, after another night of sometimes great and sometimes spectacular dancing, two more had to leave the competition. Except this time there’d be no last-minute Twitter save for redemption, and the judges would have no say in the final outcome whatsoever.
Based on votes cast for last week’s performances, host Cat Deeley revealed who was safe and who was in jeopardy throughout the two-hour live broadcast. For Team Street, Megz Alfonso and JJ Rabone were in the Bottom Two. For Team Stage, it was Derek Piquette and Edson Juarez.
In the end, Juarez and Rabone were given the boot. That leaves Hailee Payne, Gaby Diaz, Jim Nowakowski, and Piquette (Stage), and Virgil Gadson, Jaja Vaňková, Neptune, and Megz (Street) in the competition as the Top 8 for 2015. Rabone actually did not compete during the episode due to a rib injury, and would have automatically been in the bottom next week had she survived the elimination.
