Young Eddie Huang is about to meet one of his heroes.

Shaquille O'Neal has boarded the sophomore season of Fresh Off the Boat. The Hollywood Reporter has learned that the retired NBA player is set to appear in the third episode of the ABC comedy — likely as himself, if you're basing it off the title.

Few details are available at the moment, and the episode is set to shoot in early September, but its called "Shaquille O’Neal Motors." Historically speaking, it won't be much of a stretch. Fresh Off the Boat takes place in 1990s Orlando, where Shaq played for The Magic between 1992 and 1996.

Shaq previously visited the 20th Century Fox TV show in name only, when a made-up video game starring the retired NBA center featured prominently in a first-season episode.

Fresh Off the Boat was a midseason surprise for ABC. From Nahnatchka Khan, it performed surprisingly well in the typically sleepy Tuesday time slot. The network appears so confident in the new season, its pairing the show with its buzzy Muppets vehicle.
