A new clip from Robert Pattinson’s upcoming movie Life was released on Monday, and it shows his photographer character taking the iconic photo of James Dean walking through New York’s Times Square with a cigarette dangling from his mouth. Watch the clip below!
As Gossip Cop has reported, Life tells the true story of Life magazine photographer Dennis Stock (Pattinson), who embarked on a road trip with James Dean (Dane DeHaan) in the early 1950s as part of a magazine interview. Along the way, the two men developed a friendship, and some of the pictures Stock took of Dean went on to become the most famous images of the late movie star.
As Gossip Cop previously noted, the first trailer for the movie was released earlier this month. The new clip (below) further teases the film’s recreation of how Dean’s Times Square photograph came to be. Life also stars Ben Kingsley and Joel Edgerton, and was directed by Anton Corbijn. The movie had its world premiere in February at the Berlin Film Festival.
The movie is set to hit theaters, as well as Video-On-Demand, on December 4. Watch the clip below from Life in which Pattinson’s character snaps one of the most famous photographs of James Dean, and tell Gossip Cop what you think.
