"Once Upon a Time" traveled to the D23 Expo on Saturday and gave fans a first look at a newcomer to its fairytale drama – Merida.
ABC released the first image of Amy Manson as Merida, from "Brave," a character that is joining the "Once" world for Season 5.

"We will meet her in the premeire and how we meet her I don't want to spoil [how]," Executive Producer Eddy Kitsis said during the panel.

"Amy Manson who plays her is fantastic," fellow Executive Producer Adam Horowitz added.
