In a phone call between the three women, the birthday girls can tell that the professional responsible for their birthday extravaganza might not be able to pull it all together in time. But at least the duo has a sense of humor about it all.

"It is now becoming apparent that balls are being dropped," one says, as the other laughs. "You said balls drop," her BFF shoots back.

But their good-natured attitude doesn't rub off on their planner, who breaks down after she hangs up. "This is just not what I want these ladies to see," she says, unsuccessfully trying to hold back tears.
