Kristen Stewart began filming Woody Allen’s new movie this week, more than five months after Gossip Cop first reported she signed on to the project. See photos below!
Stewart is set to star alongside Jesse Eisenberg, Bruce Willis, and Blake Lively, as well as Parker Posey, Anna Camp, and Corey Stoll. Allen has a history of keeping his film titles and plot details under wrap for as long as possible, and so there’s been no information released yet about Stewart’s role in the project. But in photos taken in Pasadena on Friday, the actress was seen wearing a midriff-baring top and skirt that suggested the film is not set in the present day.
Interestingly, Stewart and Eisenberg got to work just a few days after their latest film, American Ultra, had its world premiere in Los Angeles. As Gossip Cop has noted, the Allen flick will be their third collaboration together, after having first co-starred in 2009’s Adventureland. But while this is Eisenberg’s second time working with Allen, it’s Stewart’s first.
On Monday’s “Live! With Michael and Kelly,” Stewart spoke about auditioning for the upcoming movie, and admitted, “I hadn’t been that exceptionally nervous in a long time.” That said, Stewart confessed that she wasn’t supposed to talk about the project.
