Kim Kardashian is NOT “urging” Kris Jenner to “retire,” despite a report from a webloid that continually gets stories about the Kardashian-Jenner family wrong. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct the claim, with a rep for Kardashian telling us it’s completely untrue.
According to RadarOnline, Kardashian is “slowly pushing her business savvy mom out as head of the family empire” and is “urging her mom to retire!” The site quotes a so-called “insider” as saying, “Kim’s always dreamed of taking her Kris’s place at the head of the family” with help from husband Kanye West. “She wants Kanye to call all the shots with her, from show plot lines to business and endorsement deals,” alleges the site’s supposed source.
RadarOnline conveniently goes on to note that Jenner is “having a hard time embracing her 34-year-old daughter’s vision for the future,” a perfect cover for when the momager doesn’t hand over the reins any time in the near future. Still, the webloid’s “insider” further claims, “Kim’s told her mom it should be like a royal abdication, that she shouldn’t wait too long before passing over the power. She says there’s still so much money-making potential with the family, but managing it all is a young woman’s job.”
Gossip Cop wishes RadarOnline would do a better job at “managing” stories, because this one, like so many before it, is nothing but hogwash. The site repeatedly tries to pit Kardashian and Jenner family members against each other, like last December, when it falsely claimed Kendall Jenner was firing the matriarch as her manager. Gossip Cop exclusively debunked that allegation, and now more than eight months later, mom and daughter are still working together.
This new tale about Kardashian and Jenner is just more of the same old bad dish. A rep for the reality star exclusively tells Gossip Cop that it’s 100 percent “false” that Kardashian is trying to get her mother to retire. One thing is clear, though: RadarOnline’s “reporting” remains as Kardashians-challenged as ever.
