Josh Duggar may be sued for allegedly using a “random guy” photo on OkCupid. At it turns out, the picture isn’t random at all, but actually belongs to a deejay named Matthew McCarthy.

As Gossip Cop reported, Duggar’s subscription to the cheating service Ashley Madison was exposed earlier this week after hacked data was posted online. Thanks to some Internet sleuthing from Gawker, it was discovered that the username and address associated with Duggar’s Ashley Madison account (joesmithsonnwa@gmail.com) is the same one tied to an OkCupid profile username (joesmithsonnwa). The picture on the dating site, however, is very clearly NOT Duggar.

But it seems the controversial reality star may have used the photo as a cover to hide his true identity. A search on Google for “random guy” turns up the picture in question, which may have been how Duggar found it. Unbeknownst to him, though, the picture is actually of McCarthy, who, understandably, is now none too pleased to be linked to a child molester and philanderer.

Prior to the scandal, McCarthy had no idea his photo was being used on OkCupid, let alone by Duggar of all people. He tells TMZ that the association has already cost him at least one deejay gig in Hollywood, and he’s now considering taking legal action on grounds of defamation. TELL US: What do you think of a “random guy” getting caught up in Duggar’s sex scandal?
