Joseph Gordon-Levitt and his wife Tasha McCauley have welcomed a baby boy, Gossip Cop confirms with his rep. The little man was born over the August 15 weekend.
This is the first child for the couple. We’re told mother and son are “doing well.” No other details were given about the boy, which is not surprising given how under-the-radar Gordon-Levitt and his wife have been.
McCauley and Gordon-Levitt quietly exchanged vows at their home on December 20, 2014. The bride apparently was in her first trimester at the wedding.
Gordon-Levitt has kept his relationship with McCauley extremely private from the beginning. In 2013, he said in an interview that his then-girlfriend was not in the entertainment industry and prefers her anonymity. “The girl that I’m with,” said Gordon-Levitt at the time, “she really doesn’t want to be a part of that.” In fact, his wife is far from being a part of Hollywood. McCauley is the CEO and founder of Fellow Robots, a robotics company at the NASA Research Park in Silicon Valley, California.
