Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult are not fighting on the set of their upcoming movie X-Men: Apocalypse, despite a new tabloid story. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this rumor. We’re told it’s simply “not true.”

According to Star, exes Lawrence and Hoult began arguing while filming a scene for the new X-Men movie, and things got so heated that crew members were forced to shut down production for several hours. A so-called “source” tells the tabloid, “Jen blew up on Nick while they were in the middle of a scene because he made a snide remark. She’s at her wits’ ends when it comes to Nick’s emotions.” The “insider” goes on to claim that Hoult won’t accept that Lawrence has moved on with Chris Martin, and the actor “can’t let their relationship go.”

Lawrence and Hoult have remained on good terms since their breakup and are both professionals. Even if there were an issue between the two, neither actor would bring that tension to a movie shoot.

Still, Gossip Cop checked in with production sources and we’re told there was absolutely no feuding going on between the former couple. A source close to the situation also tells us no incident has taken place to cause production to shut down for a few hours. Our same insider assures Gossip Cop, the two have been “totally good” during shooting and anything claimed to the contrary is “not true.”
