Jenelle Evans was arrested on Thursday for assault after she hit her ex-fiance Nathan Griffith’s new girlfriend with a glass, Gossip Cop confirms. We’re told it all went down right outside her house in Myrtle Beach. Her rep tells Gossip Cop Evans is moving to a new home an hour away, and called Griffith to come over and “get your stuff.” But when he arrived, he brought along his new woman “to provoke” Jenelle, says her spokesman. “When you get provoked, you attack back,” says Jenelle’s rep, who acknowledges his client then threw a glass which hit Griffith’s girlfriend in the head.

Jenelle was then taken (once again) to a local jail and booked for assault. Her rep tells Gossip Cop she just completed a degree to become a medical assistant, is moving closer to her six-year-old son, and wants to start anew, away from Griffith, who her spokesman says is “verbally abusive” toward her and allegedly has “broken into her house twice.”

As Gossip Cop has noted, this is by no means Evans’ first arrest. In fact, it seems when she and Griffith get anywhere near each other, it usually ends with the cops. As Gossip Cop previously reported, Evans was arrested in Myrtle Beach for attacking Griffith outside his home in May. He alleged she had gotten drunk, trashed his car, and then physically assaulted him. He later dropped the domestic violence charges against her.

Not long after her arrest on Thursday, Jenelle’s PR team tweeted, “Jenelle appreciates all the support from her fans,” which the ‘Teen Mom 2″ star herself retweeted while currently still in custody.
