Jaimie Alexander has a hefty amount of work on her plate when it comes to playing the role of Jane Doe in NBC's upcoming fall drama "Blindspot."
As the trailer for the freshman series revealed, Jaimie plays a woman the FBI finds naked, covered in tattoos and zipped up in a duffle bag in Times Square in the series premiere, with no memory of how she got there. Although Jane lacks any knowledge of who she is, her freshly inked tattoos carry clues that the FBI (including Sullivan Stapleton's agent Kurt Weller) begins to use to stop terrorist acts and crimes, and along the way, Jaimie's character starts to show off some pretty extraordinary skills, even if Jane is unaware of how she acquired them.
"I speak about 13 different languages -- not really – just, of course, whatever I'm saying in the episode that I'm saying it," Jaimie told Access Hollywood.

The actress was also put through some Navy SEAL training for the part.
"I learned how to fire several different weapons, how to clear a house, how to clear a room, which is kind of intense to think there's men and women over there doing that kind of stuff," she said.

"I learned how to swim. I did not know how to swim that well, so now I can Navy dive and move through water without making many waves and just all kinds of crazy stuff," she added.
Jane may not know who she is, but Jaimie hopes audiences find her kick-butt character inspiring.
"I hope that she is a good role model for young women to stand up for what they believe in, to use their intuition and their gut and don't listen to what other people tell you about yourself. Just listen to yourself. That's really the core of Jane Doe," Jaimie said. "That's all she has. She has no memory of who she was, so it's about her starting over and trusting herself and letting her, I guess her center, her gut instinct, guide her to where she needs to be."
"Blindspot" premieres Monday, September 21 at 10/9c on NBC.
