Howard Stern and Howie Mandel are not feuding behind-the-scenes at “America’s Got Talent,” despite a new tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this claim. We’re told the rumor is simply not true.

According to a completely fabricated story from the National Enquirer, there is “serious tension” between “AGT” judges Stern and Mandel, who supposedly ignore one another while backstage at NBC’s reality competition show. An alleged “insider” tells the tabloid, “Once the cameras stop running, they are done with each other.” The so-called “source” adds, “Howard has never been Howie’s biggest fan, but he pretty much ignore[s] him most of the time.”

The magazine’s “insider” goes on to claim that Stern and Mandel’s feud hit its boiling point when the shock jock demeaned the comedian’s skills as a judge. “They finally had words, and Howie told Howard to mind his own business,” alleges the “source,” noting, “Howard just laughed it off. He’s convinced that without him, the show would’ve been canceled already.”

There is no feud between Stern and Mandel. This is just another attempt by the Enquirer to manufacture drama where there is none at “America’s Got Talent.” In the past, Gossip Cop similarly busted an equally fictitious report by the Enquirer, which claimed Stern was in a feud with Heidi Klum. A couple of years have past, and obviously that’s also been proven untrue. Regardless, a rep for Mandel exclusively tells Gossip Cop that there is “no truth” to the rumor, noting the two “AGT” judges are friends.
