The Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s annual Golden Globes banquet was held on Thursday at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, and a slew of stars were in attendance. The event is held each year to raise money for various causes, as well as to honor celebrities for their charitable efforts. Among those at the dinner were Jake Gyllenhaal, Jon Hamm, Sarah Silverman, Lady Gaga, Jane Fonda, Emily Blunt, Benicio Del Toro, Jamie Lee Curtis, John Krasinski, Bryan Cranston, Halle Berry, Andrew Garfield, Joe Manganiello, Brie Larson, Elizabeth Banks, Ty Burrell, Saoirse Ronan, Sophia Bush, America Ferrera, Topher Grace, Dakota Johnson, and Ice Cube.

There were many funny moments throughout the evening as the celebrities performed rehearsed bits, as well as improvised through unplanned incidents. When Fonda introduced Blunt and Del Toro to come out onstage, the actors were nowhere in sight, leaving Fonda no choice but to ad-lib about their lateness. When Blunt and Del Toro did finally appear onstage, they struggled to read the TelePrompter, resulting in Gyllenhaal and Hamm teasing them with a standing ovation.

Lady Gaga talked about how excited she was to be introduced by Jamie Lee Curtis. And Silverman showed off ample cleavage at the event, prompting Cranston when he took the stage to thank the comedienne for “presenting her own luscious golden globes.”

The HFPA banquet raised $2.1 million, and the money will be distributed to various non-profit organizations and scholarship programs. See a photo gallery below of the stars who attended the fundraiser, and tell us what you think.
