Connie Britton is a definitely a fan of her American Ultra co-star Kristen Stewart. Britton was asked about less-than-flattering characterizations of Stewart on Thursday’s “Watch What Happens Live,” and set the record straight by gushing about the actress. Check out video below!
“I’m here to tell you — I actually don’t have a ton of scenes with her, but I did get to work with her a couple of days,” said Britton. “I was so impressed with her. She is so sweet, so smart, such a badass girl, like really down to Earth.”
She continued, “I’m telling you, I could have not been more impressed with her. So, let’s turn that around.” Britton also implored viewers to check out their film. “Please do see the movie, because it’s so awesome and so hilarious and fun,” she said on the live broadcast.
The show also featured a clip of American Ultra, which is slated to be released next Friday. In the scene, Britton, who is a secret government agent, tries to alert a stoner (Jesse Eisenberg) that a new operation is in effect, but he’s completely unaware that he’s a sleeper agent.
