Caitlyn Jenner meets Chaz Bono on the upcoming episode of “I Am Cait,” and compliments the transgender activist on admirably going through a transition in the public eye. Watch the promo video below.
On Sunday’s episode of the E! reality show, Jenner and Bono visit the Los Angeles Children’s Hospital to participate in a support group for families of children who are dealing with gender identity issues.
“Well, hi there!,” an excited Jenner says when she spots Bono in the lobby. She goes on to give him a heartfelt compliment, saying, “In your transition, which obviously I was watching and everybody else was watching, I know it’s been a lot of hard work. But you’ve done a very good job, and I was really glad to see that.”
During an on-camera confessional, Jenner later went on to explain the background of her relationship with Bono. “For the longest time, I wanted to talk to Chaz. I met him at ‘Dancing with the Stars’ briefly, and obviously I couldn’t tell him my story,” relates Jenner. “He came out publicly before I did, so finally having the opportunity to spend some time with him , I think it’s going to be great. I can learn a lot from him.”
This past July, Gossip Cop exclusively corrected a fabricated story by the National Enquirer claiming that Jenner and Bono were engaged in a “silent feud.” There was and is no truth to any bad blood between the two, as evidenced in the clip below, which shows they’re clearly happy to see one another.
