Lady Gaga is about to check into Ryan Murphy's "American Horror Story: Hotel," and details of her creepy new role have been revealed.
The singer will play The Countess, a "glamorous socialite who attends art openings and fashions shows," according to EW.
While that sounds pretty normal, Gaga's character has a vampire-esque little secret: she maintains her beauty by drinking human blood.

According to "AHS" creator Ryan Murphy, Countess is less of a vampire and more a sufferer of an "ancient blood virus," a "form of hemophilia," the mag reports.
Countess also has an "insatiable" desire for love and sex, and will be at the center of a love triangle between her also-bloodthirsty co-stars Donovan (Matt Bomer) and male model Tristan (Finn Wittrock), according to EW.

The mag also offered the first look at Gaga as Countess, Tweeting a picture of the "Applause" singer with blood smeared all over the chest and neck.
"American Horror Story: Hotel" premieres October 7 on FX.
