A&E and LMN will air the specials on the eve of the 20th anniversary of the criminal trial verdict.

A+E Networks is set to relive the trial of the century.

Marking 20 years since the infamous criminal trial verdict came down in favor of O.J. Simpson, A&E and LMN are set to air two new two-hour event specials. LMN's The Secret Tapes of the O.J. Case: The Untold Story premieres Sept. 30th, with A&E's O.J. Speaks: The Hidden Tapes following Oct. 1st. The projects promise unprecedented access into the criminal and civil trials, with never-before-heard recordings and interviews.

Both documentaries are ABS Productions, with Stephen Auerbach, Chuck Braverman and Lawrence Schiller, who was a close confident of late attorney Robert Kardashian, attached as executive producers. The pair joins a growing cadre of Simpson projects, including Ryan Murphy's scripted entry, American Crime Story, which is currently in production for FX with actor Cuba Gooding Jr. set to play Simpson.

The LMN doc is expected to shed new light on the events surrounding the criminal trial verdict as well as the many facets of Simpson's troubling persona. The Secret Tapes will feature an audio recording that Simpson taped prior to being chased in his white Bronco, along with rare interviews with key players on both sides, including extensive discussions with Kardashian and ex-wife Kris Kardashian Jenner.

For its part, A&E's O.J. Speaks delves deeper into the civil trial, which found Simpson responsible for the wrongful deaths of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman. The special will serve up portions of the plaintiffs' deposition tapes, which had been buried in a storage warehouse for nearly two decades. Family members, including Fred Goldman, along with those of the civil trial legal team are also interviewed exclusively for the special.
