Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy are not going anywhere.

CBS Television Distribution has renewed the popular game shows for two additional seasons, taking them through the 2017-18 season.

With each series averages more than 10 million viewers a day, renewals were a foregone conclusion. The pickups take Wheel through its 35th season, while Jeopardy will extend through 34. Jeopardy's Alex Trebek as well as Wheel's Pat Sajak and Vanna White have all inked new deals to remain with their respective series through the 2017-18 season.

"Not only are Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardyiconic brands that have consistently delivered ratings and revenue to stations for years, but they are beloved by viewers who have made them appointment viewing in households across the country,” CBSTVD president of sales Joe DiSalvo said. “They are two of the most sought after shows by political advertisers, so our station partners will benefit from locking up these shows through the upcoming 2016 presidential election season.”

Wheel has been the No. 1 syndicated game show since its inception, earning seven Emmys. Jeopardy is the No. 2 syndicated game show and hold the Guinness World Records title for most Emmys won by a game show with 31.

Both series hail from Sony Pictures Television.
