Rihanna released the official music video for her new song, “American Oxygen,” on Tidal, but the video has since leaked online. In the patriotic single, Rihanna sings about “chasin’ the American dream,” while the accompanying video includes historic moments in U.S history. Watch the video below.
As Gossip Cop reported, the 27-year-old singer debuted “American Oxygen” during the March Madness Music Festival in Indianapolis on Saturday.” Following her emotional performance, Rihanna took to Twitter to write, “Thank you Indiana!! I would never forget how much fun I had with you tonight!! You blew me away!! Thank you man!! One love always.” She added, “You SANG EVERY F*CKING WORD!! That sh*t legit give me goosebumps.”
On Monday, Rihanna released the video, which features images of President Obama’s inauguration, the moon landing, and the March on Washington flashing across the screen, as she sings, “Chasin’ this American dream. We sweat for a nickel and a dime, Turn it into an empire. Breathe in, the feeling. American, American oxygen.”
