TV Ratings: ‘A.D.’ Drops in Second Week

The NBC series still ranks as the top scripted show of Sunday night, besting 'Once Upon a Time.'

A.D. The Bible Continues is not doing much for NBC's Sunday night. Just one week after premiering, the follow-up to History's The Bible took a 26 percent hit in its first one-hour outing and averaged a 1.7 rating among adults 18-49. Despite being the highest-rated scripted show in the key demo that night, edging out ABC's Once Upon a Time, the network was still tied in last place.

American Odyssey fell four-tenths of a point from its soft premiere to average a 0.8 rating in the key demo, tying a repeat of A.D. at 8 p.m. At the top of the night, Dateline (0.6 adults) was off four-tenths of a point from last week.

CBS' current Sunday win is inflated on account of the Masters overrun, with Madam Secretary (1.5 adults) up four-tenths of a point. The Good Wife (1.2 adults) improved by two-tenths of a point ahead of a steady Battle Creek (0.8 adults).

ABC's block of Once Upon a Time (1.6 adults), Secrets and Lies (1.3 adults) and Revenge (0.9 adults) were all steady.
