For everyone who doesn't want to be seen as a little lonely in that selfie, two artists are developing a solution.

The "selfie arm," which is still under development, would make it appear as if the user is holding someone's hand.

The prototype was created out of fiberglass by artists Justin Crowe and Aric Snee and is "lightweight and portable," Designboom reported.
The arm can also reportedly hold multiple smartphones on its adjustable mount.

According to Designboom, the arm is "the sarcastic solution to a quintessential problem — nobody wants to look alone while they mindlessly snap pictures of themselves."
