Mamie Gummer is moving to Manhattan.
The Good Wife alum has been cast in a recurring role on WGN America's acclaimed period drama, the network announced Wednesday.
Gummer will portray Nora, a beautiful, street-smart spy sent to the Hill to serve as a liaison to Jim Meeks (Christopher Denham). Nora employs her personality and sexuality to pass atomic secrets to the Soviets.
Gummer is the latest big name to board the show's second season. William Peterson recently signed on as a series regular – his first such role since his 10-season stint on CSI.
Produced by Lionsgate, Skydance and Tribune Studios, the second season of Manhattan begins production in April and will debut later this year.
Gummer's credits include Elementary, Side Effects and The Big C. She is repped by CAA.
