Lil Wayne’s tour bus was reportedly shot at in Atlanta early Sunday morning, though it’s not clear if he was on board at the time.

The rapper, who had performed at the club Compound on Saturday night, left the venue around 3:30 a.m. Sunday, with himself and his entourage using to two tour buses. Minutes after pulling away, one of the vehicles was hit by gunfire. They were driven to a nearby hotel, where one of the people in Wayne’s group called police.

Thankfully, it does not appear anyone was injured in the incident. It is also not clear which bus Wayne was riding on, but according to TMZ, he was joined by Lil Twist, as well as other artists and associates connected to Young Money. A police investigation is underway.

Wayne has made no mention of the situation on social media. Incidentally, the scare comes less than two weeks after a former tour bus driver filed a lawsuit against the music star. As Gossip Cop reported, Mark Jones, who drove Wayne around during a tour last summer, claims Wayne once cocked a gun and threatened to kill him during a dispute over stopping for gas. He’s suing for false imprisonment, assault and emotional distress.

Gossip Cop will have updates. In the meantime, Wayne might want to stay off tour buses.
