Kim Kardashian and Kanye West had their daughter North West baptized in Israel on Monday, a rep confirms to Gossip Cop. According to local reports, the 22-month-old girl’s ceremony took place at Saint James Cathedral, a 12th-century Armenian church in Jerusalem.

The couple traveled to Israel on Monday and are expected to leave for Jordan on Tuesday. Before coming to Jerusalem, they and other members of the Kardashian family visited the clan’s ancestral homeland of Armenia for several days in conjunction with the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.

As Gossip Cop previously reported, Kim and her sister Khloe met with Armenia’s prime minster last week, were gifted a plot of land in the country, and caused some chaos among crowds of fans and paparazzi following an otherwise somber trip to the Armenian Genocide Memorial on Friday. On Sunday, West jumped into Swan Lake during a performance in the city of Yerevan.

The Saint James Cathedral, where North West was baptized in a short ceremony, is in the Armenian Quarter of the city and serves as the principal church of the Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem. Gossip Cop will have updates on the family’s continuing journey through the region.
