Jennifer Lopez has now confirmed what Gossip Cop has been saying for months, which is that she’s “single” and not back together with Casper Smart. Despite other sites claiming that Lopez and Smart had rekindled, or even a report last week that stated they faked their breakup and have been secretly dating the whole time, Gossip Cop has stood firm with our insider information that the “American Idol” judge is single. At the taping of the singing competition on Wednesday, Lopez was asked point blank by E! if she could “set the record straight” about whether she and Smart were back on, and she said, “I’m single right now.” End of story.
As Gossip Cop has noted since their split last June, Lopez and Smart hang out and are seen together occasionally, but they’re really ‘just friends,” says our impeccable Lopez insider. They never faked a breakup. They never secretly reunited romantically since the split.
