Hugh Sheridan Flies To Nepal To Find His Little Brother

Actor’s brother thought to be among hundreds of Australians missing following devastating earthquake.

Packed to the Rafters star Hugh Sheridan has told fans he is on his way to Nepal to search for his younger brother. Zachary Sheridan is believed to have been at Mount Everest base camp.

The actor says once he gets to Nepal, he will be in a crew with a helicopter, a doctor and a satellite phone.

He posted on Instragram, "Stay positive everyone, I feel optimistic that he is alive and stuck.

I'm looking forward to seeing my little brother and getting him out safely.

This was the last picture he sent me, he sure captured her beauty."

"We are currently working to confirm this person's identity," she said.

The official death toll from the quake has now risen to 3,218.

850 Australians in Nepal have been confirmed safe. Ms Bishop confirmed the Australian government has provided $5 million in aid.
